  1. Changes in version 3.07

  3. We have made a number of minor improvements and changes to F-PROT since the
  4. release of the previous version.
  5.  
  6. Most of those changes only affect the speed of the program, or the
  7. detection/disinfection of a handful of viruses, but there were a few
  8. changes to the program functionality:

  10.     The program can now be run from two diskettes, which can be necessary
  11.     when the hard disk MBR is corrupted.  You can now put F-PROT.EXE and
  12.     ENGLISH.TX0 on the first diskette and the three .DEF files (SIGN.DEF,
  13.     SIGN2.DEF and MACRO.DEF) on the second.

  15.     F-PROT can now sacn and disinfect Microsoft Project98 files.
  16.  
  17.     Improved scanning of self-extracting archives.
  18.  
  19. The total mumber of viruses and Trojans that are now detected by the
  20. program is now above 45200.
  21.  
  22. We would also like to remind anyone reading this that the Windows version
  23. of F-PROT is now finally available world-wide.  If you have not yet taken
  24. a look at the trial version of FP-WIN, you might want to do so.
